HOW TO REMEMBER WHAT YOU READ 6 WAYS ON HOW TO REMEMBER WHAT YOU READ
1. Avoid any external distraction
i.e you should get away from your typical surrounding that may take your time. For example, if you know that you want to read, just make sure you move away from anything that may hindered your attention when reading e.g tv, phones, pets, sound, unread friends etc.
2. Don’t multitask (stop multitask)
When you know that you want to read for school, then just focus on that one task and don;t think about that your friend birthday party or that your hot food that you want to eat (Remember, longer throat is not good when you are reading LOL ……)don’t ever try to do multitask i.e don’t ever try to so two things/tasks at the same time. 3. Read with a friend that you can ask a question concerning what you are reading, and could answer you correctly in a funny way or words. Through that you may quickly recall such question or answer in an exam hall.
4. Avoid internal distraction
i.e don’t think of any other thing when you take your book to read. If any thought come to your mind and not allow you to read all you need to do is just tell yourself that once you have finished reading (and understanding and remembering) this next section, you’ll take a break to deal with the thoughts in your mind or daydreams. 5 . Study in the afternoon When you study in a quite place in the afternoon, you will recall the information fast better than if night or morning.
6. Summarize each paragraph in the margin
When you are reading what you need to remember, Summarize every key-points of what you are reading on a note and re-do that again and again until you catch up everything. i.e write them over and over again and again in a bunch of time.
