GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION INTO TEMPLE GATE POLYTECHNIC ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
Candidates are advised to study the brochure before completing the application forms. Application forms, which are not properly completed, may not be processed. Candidates who do not meet the required entry qualifications will not be considered for admission.
A. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
1. GENERAL MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
a. Candidates must process the minimum requirements for the National Diploma (ND) PROGRAMME in the specific field.
b. They must posses the National Diploma of Temple Gate Polytechnic, Aba or the equivalent from recognized institutions in the appropriate disciplines with a minimum
of lower Credit Pass(CGPA of 2.50)
c. They must have by the expected date of admission, completed a minimum of twelve (12) calendar months post National Diploma (ND) industrial Work Experience relevant to
their field of study.
d. Candidate with CGPA below 2.50 must have completed a minimum of two years of post ND cognate work experience.
SUBMISSION OF REFEREE’S REPORT AND ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT
Candidates are strongly advised to urge their institutions and referees to forward their academic transcripts and referees report promptly.
Note: Failure to submit the above documents on time may result in rejection of the application of a candidate.
