Postgraduate Scholarship Award for 2019/2020 session

The Stephen Oluwole Awokoya Foundation for Science Education invites you to send your nominations for its 2019 Post Graduate Scholarship Award in Science Fields for which selection will commence in February, 2019

To this end, the Board of Trustees would like to request your University (Faculties and Departments) to forward to us, the names of your best 2018 Nigerian Graduating Students in Sciences, who are known to have an intention to pursue a Post-Graduate Degree in their various fields.

Please note that nominees should not be students who graduated before 2018, not those who are currently Graduate Teaching Assistants in your Departments, as they will not qualify for the scholarship.  They should be student graduating in the academic year (2017/2018) not (2018/2019).

Postgraduate Scholarship Award

Please ensure the following:-

1. Each nominee to the scheme should have a reputation for hard work and good behavior.
2. His/Her University Transcript should be forwarded to the Board of Trustees together with a letter of recommendation from the Dean of the relevant Faculty.
3. Each nominee should fill the enclosed form. The form is to be sent directly to the Foundation by the nominee together with his/her write ups.
4. Not more than one nominee should be recommended from one Department except the nominees have the same CGPA.
5. No final year students yet to graduate are to be nominated.

1. The letter of nomination (which should include the email and telephone number of the recommender).
2. The transcript.
3. The filled bio-data form and write-ups of the nominees;

are all to be sent to the Foundation before the end of January, 2019 as final screening of nominees will be done early in February, 2019.

All entries are to be sent as early as possible.  Please make use of the Foundation’s e-mail address ([email protected]), if mailing will cause a delay.
